Golden Brands 464 is an all natural soy wax. It contains a soy based additive to reduce frosting and increase fragrance load. 464 soy was is designed for use in container candles and blends well with other waxes, such as paraffin and palm wax. It is not recommended to blend 464 soy wax with beeswax.

Advantages of using 464 wax:
Typically requires only a single pour
Contains a soy based additive allowing for to reduce frosting and improved scent throw
No additives required
Basic Guidelines:
First, heat wax to around 185°, using a double boiler or microwave
Then, add colorant to the wax if desired and stir until thoroughly mixed
Next, add CANDLE fragrance oil if desired and mix for at least 2 minutes
Pouring temperatures should typically be around 110° to 100°, though experimentation is recommended to determine optimal pouring temperature
Finally, allow candles to cool slowly to achieve best results
We recommend waiting at least 24 hours before test burning, remember to test your candle each time you make any changes to your recipe/formula.
